Almond Pudding Recipe
Almond Pudding with Ground Almonds, Short Pastry, Strawberry Jam, Sugar, Orange Juice and Egg.
INGREDIENTS
4 oz (100g) Ground Almonds
2 tablespoons Strawberry Jam
4 oz (100g) Short Pastry
3 oz (75g) Castor Sugar
2 tablespoons Orange Juice
1 Egg
METHOD
Mix the ground almonds and sugar together, add the orange juice and well beaten egg. Line a buttered dish with the pastry and spread it evenly with the strawberry jam. Spread the almond mixture over and bake (230C, 450F, Mark 8) for around 20 minutes until golden brown.
