Athole Brose Recipe
Athole Brose Recipe with Heather Honey, Whisky & Water.
INGREDIENTS
1 lb (450g) Heather Honey
1 1/2 (750ml) pints Whisky
1 teacupful (150ml) Cold Water
METHOD
Put the Honey into a basin. Stir in the Cold Water, and keep stirring until the Honey has disolved. Gradually add the Whisky. Stir quickly until the brose begins to froth, then bottle, cork tightly, and store in a cool dry cupboard.
