Braised Spanish Onions Recipe
Braised Spanish Onions Recipe with Spanish Onions and Brown Gravy.
INGREDIENTS
4 or 5 Spanish Onions
1 pint (600ml) Brown Gravy
METHOD
Peel the onions, and put them in a saucepan, with cold water to cover. Bring to the boil, then strain. Pour a pint (600ml) of brown gravy into a saucepan, and stew gently for 1 1/2 to 2 hours. Lift out the onions on to a hot dish, thicken the gravy slightly, pour it around the onions and serve.
Enough for 3 or 4 people.
