Cheese Custard Recipe
Cheese Custard Recipe with Milk, Eggs, Cheese, Breadcrumbs and Cayenne Pepper.
INGREDIENTS
3/4 pint (450ml) Milk
2 Eggs
1 oz (25g) Grated Cheese
1 tablespoon Breadcrumbs
Salt
Cayenne Pepper
METHOD
Beat the yolks of the eggs with a good pinch of salt and a pinch of cayenne. Add the milk, breadcrumbs, and grated cheese. Mix well. Then stir in the whipped whites of the eggs. Turn into a buttered dish and bake in a very slow oven (325F, 160C, Mark 3) until set.
Enough for 4 people.
