Cottage Cheese Pie Recipe

Cottage Cheese Pie Recipe with Cottage Cheese, Egg, Cream, Butter, Sugar, Almonds, Pastry and Cinnamon.

INGREDIENTS

1/2 pint (300ml) Cottage Cheese
1 Egg
1/8 pint (75ml) Cream
1 teaspoon Melted Butter
1 oz (25g) Castor Sugar
1 tablespoon Chopped Blanched Almonds
Pastry
Icing Sugar
Ground Cinnamon

METHOD

Mash up the cheese, add the egg and beat well together. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix well. Line a flan case with the pastry of your choice and pour the mixture into it. Bake in a good oven until the filling is quite firm, about half an hour. When done and still hot, sprinkle with icing sugar mixed with a little ground cinnamon, and leave for about 45 minutes, when it should be eaten warm.

Enough for 4 people.
