Derby Savoury Pudding Recipe
Derby Savoury Pudding Recipe with Breadcrumbs, Oatmeal, Sage, Flour, Suet, Onions & Eggs.
INGREDIENTS
2 teacupfuls Breadcrumbs
1 teacupful fine Oatmeal
1 teaspoonful minced Sage
Salt & Pepper to taste
2 teacupfuls Flour
4 oz (100g) minced Suet
1 lb (450g) minced Onions
2 Eggs
METHOD
Put the Breadcrumbs and Oatmeal into a basin. Pour over the Milk and stand for 10 minutes. Beat in the Eggs. Mix together the Flour, Sage and Salt & Pepper. Beat this into the mixture, together with the Onions. Bake for 1 hour in a greased tin, like a Yorkshire Pudding. Serve with Roast Goose, Duck or Pork.
