Dripping Bunes Recipe
Dripping Bunes with Fine Oatmeal, Medium Oatmeal, Flour, Dripping, Sugar, Baking Powder and Milk.
INGREDIENTS
4 oz (100g) Fine Oatmeal
2 oz (50g) Medium Oatmeal
2 oz (50g) Flour
2 oz (50g) Dripping
1 oz (25g) Sugar
Good Pinch of Salt
teaspoon Baking Powder
1/4 pint (150ml) Milk
METHOD
Beat the dripping to a cream, mix it with the sugar, then the flour, oatmeal, salt and baking powder. Mix to a dough with the milk. Roll out, cut into rounds, and bake on floured tins in a moderately hot oven (230C / 450F / Mark 8).
