Dumplings Recipe
Dumplings Recipe with Plain Flour, Suet, Parsley, Baking Powder, Water & Herbs
INGREDIENTS
6 tablespoonfuls Plain Flour
3 oz (75g) minced Suet
1 dessertful chopped Parsley
1/4 teaspoonful Baking Powder
1/4 pint (150ml) Water
1/4 teaspoonful dried Herbs
Pinch of Salt
METHOD
Mix all the dry ingredients together in a basin. Stir in enough water to make a smooth dough. When free from cracks, shape into small balls, and drop into the stew.
Enough for 6 to 8 Dumplings.
