French Peas Recipe

French Peas Recipe with Lettuce, Peas, Spring Onions, Mint, Butter & Castor Sugar.

INGREDIENTS

1/2 Small Lettuce, washed
1 lb (450g) fresh Peas
4 Spring Onions, sliced
1 sprig of Mint
2 tablespoons Water
2 oz (50g) Butter
1/2 teaspoon Salt
1 teaspoon Castor Sugar

METHOD

Put the Lettuce in a pan and add the remaining ingredients. Cover tightly then simmer for about 20 minutes, or until the Peas are tender. Remove the Lettuce and Mint and turn the Peas into a hot serving dish. Serves 4.
