Fried Onion Rings Recipe
Fried Onion Rings Recipe with Onions, Flour and Frying Oil.
INGREDIENTS
1 or 2 Large Onions
Flour
Frying Oil or Fat
Salt
METHOD
Peel the onions and place in a saucepan, with cold water to cover. Bring to the boil, then strain. Put them into boiling salted water and boil for 15 minutes. Dry thoroughly, then cut them into rings.
Dry these well in a cloth, and roll them in flour. Shake off as much of the flour as possible, then fry in boiling oil or fat, until they are golden brown. Drain well, and use them as a garnish. They should be quite crisp.
Enough for 1 person.
