Lady Sarah's Potato Cakes Recipe
Lady Sarah's Potato Cakes Recipe with Mashed Potatoes, Butter, Egg & Ham.
INGREDIENTS
1/2 lb (225g) Floury Potatoes Boiled & Mashed
1 oz (25g) Butter
Salt
1 Egg
2 oz (50g) Ham, Finely Chopped
Butter for frying
METHOD
Mash the Potatoes with the Butter and Salt - the mixture should end up being rather dry. Add the Egg and Ham. Form into little flat cakes and fry in Butter until golden.
