Marrow and Onion Savoury Recipe with Marrow, Onions, Herbs and Butter
INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 lb (675g) Marrow
1 lb (450g) Onions, thinly sliced
Salt & Pepper
Mixed Herbs
Butter
METHOD
Peel, de-seed, and cut the marrow into 1 inch (2.5cm) cubes. Layer the marrow and onion in a greased pie dish, sprinkling the salt & pepper and mixed herbs in between each layer. Dot with butter and cover with foil and cook at 350f / 180c / mark 4 for 1 1/2 hours or until tender. Serve with lamb or roast pork.
