Onion Soup Recipe
Onion Soup Recipe with Onions, Potatoes, Celery, Butter and Milk.
INGREDIENTS
2 Large Onions
8 oz (225g) Potatoes
1 Celery Stick
2 oz (50g) Butter
1/2 pint (300ml) Milk
1 1/2 pints (900ml) Water
Salt & Pepper
METHOD
Prepare the vegetables and cut them into small pieces. Boil until soft in the water. Rub through a sieve (or blend). Return to the saucepan, add the milk and butter. Season well with salt & Pepper. Simmer for five minutes and serve very hot.
Enough for 4 people.
