Scalloped Fish Recipe

Scalloped Fish Recipe with Potato, White Fish, White Sauce, Breadcrumbs, Chives, Butter & Praprika.

INGREDIENTS

16 oz (450g) Sieved, Boiled or Steamed Potato
16 oz (450g) Boiled or steamed White Fish, or Canned Salmon
1/2 pint Well Seasoned White Sauce
4 oz (100g) Breadcrumbs
1 teaspoon Chopped Chives
2 tablespoons Melted Butter
Salt & Pepper to taste
Praprika to taste

METHOD

Add Paprika, Chives, Salt & Pepper to the Potato. Line a shallow buttered fireproof dish thinly with the mixture. Add a layer of flaked Fish, then half the White Sauce. Cover with the remainder of the Potato, then with the remainder of the White Sauce. Sprinkle with Breadcrumbs, then with the Butter. Bake in a moderate oven 400F for 23 minutes. Serve with Cucumber Salad.

Enough for 4 people.
