Scalloped Potatoes & Ham Recipe
Scalloped Potatoes & Ham Recipe with Potatoes, Milk, Gammon Ham & Onion.
INGREDIENTS
1 lb (450g) Peeled Sliced Potatoes
1/2 (300ml) Milk
1 Sliced Raw Ham (Gammon Rasher)
2 tablespoons Chopped Onion
METHOD
If Ham is salted, soak in warm water for 1/2 hour, then drain and dry. Choose a slice 1/2 inch thick. Brown on both sides in a frying pan. Place in a deep fireproof baking dish. Cover with sliced Potatoes, then with Milk. Cover and bake in a slow oven for 1 hour. Uncover and bake for another 1/2 hour.
Enough for 2 or 3 people.
