Scampi With Tartare Sauce Recipe
Scampi With Tartare Sauce Recipe with Scampi, Flour, Egg, Breadcrumbs & Tartare Sauce.
INGREDIENTS
24 Fresh or defrosted Frozen Scampi
1 oz (25g) Plain Flour
Salt & Pepper
1 Egg
3 oz (75g) Crisp Breadcrumbs
Oil for frying
METHOD
Dry the Scampi well. Coat in the Flour mixed with the seasoning, then in beaten Egg and Breadcrumbs. Fry in hot Oil for 3 -4 minutes until crisp and golden brown. Drain on kitchen paper. Serves 5 - 6 people.
Tartare Sauce
1/2 pint (300ml) Mayonnaise
2 tablespoons chopped Gerkins
1 tablespoon chopped Parsley
1 tablespoon Capers
Mix all the ingredients together. Serves 5 - 6 people
