Vanilla Buns Recipe
Vanilla Buns with Self Raising Flour, Butter, Candied Peel, Sugar, Vanilla Essence, Egg and Milk.
INGREDIENTS
8 oz (225g) Self Raising Flour
2 oz (50g) Butter
2 oz (50g) Candied Peel
2 oz (50g) Sugar
1/2 teaspoon Vanilla Essence
1 Egg
2 tablespoons Milk
METHOD
Beat the butter and sugar to a very soft cream, mix with then the flour, add the well beaten egg, vanilla, the milk, and thinly sliced peel. When thoroughly mixed bake in rather deep, well greased patty tins in a hot oven (230C, 450F, Mark 8) for about 10 minutes.
